Letter (3)

Dear Deeva,
Happy weekend .. !! I wish you’re enjoying your weekend now. Hmm, If you wanna say the same thing for me too, here’s my reply: Yes, ‘I’m enjoying my weekend here’.

But you know, yesterday I just had my ‘tough fasting’ since the day 1st. In the early morning, we had a futsal games held by my campus. But, it wasn’t a regular weekly game, and a bit like annual tournament among us (I didn’t know why they held this tournament in the early morning when some of us are Fasting). Actually, I didn’t want to play, coz I knew what the Impact that would come. So I came to the field without any preparation. Just wanted to visit and supported the ‘students team’ –which was against IALF crew--. But everything changed when I saw the Ball, Futsal field and ‘enthusiasm of my friends’. Hahaha, it was like a cat seeing fresh sardines. Suddenly, I really wanted to play. The desire was coming overwhelmed me. Moreover, some my friends, who were fasting too, persuade me to join. “Fasting is not a reason for away from sports” they were begging me to play. Shortly, I ran back to my room, took my shoes and got ready for the action.

Deeva, It was hard because we didn’t have sufficient replacement during that match. I had to play 60 minutes and lost a lot of water without re-supplied it. But I was happy, our team won 11-7 and I scored 4 goals. My friends prized me because I played attractively. Hahahaha, they just don’t know that ‘I was born for football’ ….. After that game, I went home, and got shower to cooling down . . .

It was still 10.30 in the morning, but I’ve felt badly exhaust.

After washed up, I went to campus for ‘movie time’. You know Deeva, every Saturday in here we have movie hours until 16.00 in the afternoon. But yesterday, I arrived there only to know that I didn’t interest with movies that played. I forgot the title, but I left the movie room for read magz.

I was enjoying read an article when a friend asked me to accompany her to visit some places. Her friend from Belgium come visiting. She said that she need me to ‘break the silence’ during that trip. That tourist was not her close friend, actually, but the nephew of her close friend. They only meet once before. Oh, ‘the tourist’ name is Jein. She speaks French and I loved when she teach us during that trip.

Our first destination was Uluwatu, located in the south of Denpasar. It is rocky cliff facing the ocean. Great scenery I think. But the most captured story was not about that. It was about my friend glasses that stolen by a naughty monkey. Yeaah, there are many monkeys at there. We should buy some pieces of fruits as barter for my friend’s glasses. Thanks God, it returned . . .

We were walking along the edge of cliffs under the heating sun. My exhausting was getting worse, I tell you. Unfortunately, I was the only fasting in that trip. So when they took a time to have drink, I just sat enjoying ocean view from the top of the cliff. It was hard to see they were drinking. Thanks GOD, the ocean winds relieved me. That was the most beautiful landscape I ever seen in Bali since I arrived here.

Deeva, if we are here someday, I promise to take you there. That is a piece of Bali that you must see ..

Our two next stop were beaches. It was because we guided an Belgium who never see a white sands in her country. For me, they were not really attracted me. Anyway, hot sunny day among people using bikini, it was a real test for my temptation. Hahahaha … So, I got away from beach, climbed a hill nearby and sat there. I felt better at that hill, it was shady, strong wind and I can see much better along the sea. However, I couldn’t hide that I was very thirsty.

The trip ended right before dust. I broke my fasting in our way home. I was glad that I passed that tough day.

I was happy at the end. Visited 3 new places in a day and make a new friendship with Jein. You know, we shared many stories along trip, as well as laughed together. She said that she would be glad if I visit her in Belgium someday. Belgium is small country, she adds, so it just needs 2 hours to cross the border to Germany, Holland or France. She promise a ‘3 countries trips in a day’ if I go to Belgium. Exciting, isn’t it ? Care to join me? I’ll be glad if you would … ^_^ .. Hahahahaha

Deeva, another happiness for this weekend is because English Premier League will be began by Charity Shield match between my Favorite Manchester United against Man. City tonite’. I don’t wanna miss that match, and many others that come up. So I decided to buy TV tuner for my laptop. I saw a friend who using and it looked good.

Dee, I think that's all for now. I gotta go . .!! I'll see later, by letter of course .. ^_^ Luv yaa

Leter (2)

Dear Deeva . . . . .
Happy Fasting month . . ^_^ !! Real sorry from me if it sounds late coz we’ve passed 2nd day already. Thanks GOD, I’ve done the opening day successfully. How about you . . ? Don’t say you missed that . . . .

Yesterday, I would have to write you this letter but I can’t. I was too tired after spent a ‘different’ weekend. Yes, it was different because for the 1st time I made trips out of Denpasar since 3 months living here. A relative picked me on Saturday. Took me to his house and arranged me some outer city tour.

Actually, I have had clear plans about my weekend, including sports (as I’ve told you) and finishing my writing homework. But suddenly a short massage came in. It was an invitation for a recreational weekend from Pak Ketut, my neighbor when I was living in Poso some years ago. His wife was my mom’s work-mate in Health Department. And we’ve had a close relationship. In 2000, when mass riot flamed in Poso they fled the town and headed to several safer places until finally stayed in Bali to relieved their life. After almost 10 years in Bali, they life is far better than before ( I know how were they live). Pak Ketut has been experiencing a massive success with his private company. Now, they are living in a new-luxurious 4 floors house located in the northwest Denpasar.

Btw, it was his 3rd invitation that I’ve received. Two others were forcefully rejected by me. Not because I won’t (damn fool me to refuse that) but I had a group home works at that time. Little bit inconvenient, honestly. So, when it came for the 3rd, I accepted that without a doubt. Even though I should missed badminton games and postponed to finish my writing homework.

I welcomed warmly in their ‘castle’. We spent much time to share stories. You know, Ibu Wayan is mom’s close friend, so the conversation ran a bit emotionally . . . . . (so much to share you about this actually). Something that attracted my attention at that home is HAMSTER. You should know that kind of rat. Pak Ketut son named Agung have some Hamsters in his glass-boxes. They looked cute especially when play with roll-wheel. Agung offered me to bring home one of those Hamsters, but refused because I wasn’t sure if I can cope with them. Many things should be prepared . . .
Hmmm . . . in the 1st day tour, I visited some sites such as Tanah lot and Taman Ayun. The first one is quite familiar for me because I have been there with my schoolmates years ago. But still, it was great scenery. I walked farther than my 1st visiting, actually.

Our next stop was Taman Ayun which is located in Tabanan. I just heard about that place, honestly. Not as much familiar as the other Tourism sites. But, I would tell you that it was another sacred place in Bali. That is an old temple which is surrounding with well-managed green garden and placid river. Everything was running quietly there. Nice place for meditation maybe. Hahahaa

In the next day, Sunday exactly . . . we went to Karanganyar. It was a 2 hours driving along the eastern coastline of Bali. We passed on the bypass street which was look a like in South Sulawesi to me. Yeaah, the ‘concrete-made high way streets’ along with the rice field on its both sides reminded me to Trans Sulawesi highway (Pangkep-Maros-Baru). It was pretty similar for me . . . .

Anyway, I don’t wanna talk much about my weekend trips until we meet later. I’m afraid that I have no more stories to share with you. Just keep in your mind that I still have incomplete one . . . See ??!!

Deeva, Today (2nd day of fasting) I got a little trouble with my digestion. I took several times to the toilet just a couple minutes before I ended my fasting. Forcefully, I surpassed my Harry Potter ticket to someone else. Until now, I still feel horrible, but I don’t know exactly what the culprit is. A friend joked that it is because of the increasing of stressful in me.

He is could be right or might be wrong. But one thing clear is that everything is getting serious in here. We should prepare for 2000 words discussion paper and class seminar. I must spend much time in searching and looking for the relevant resources.

Anyway, it is 16.40 pm in here. Class just finished. I should go home . . .
See you later . . !!!!
